Good! You found me.
For the second time in a year, bayflicks.net was hijacked. It became obvious that I had neither the skill to keep an independent WordPress blog secure, nor the time to acquire the skill.
So I’m moving the site here, to WordPress.com (where I don’t have to deal with code or security). This way, the technical issues are handled by someone else. If I’m pleased with how this works out, I will move the old domain name to WordPress.com, as well.
If you have a Windows computer and visited my old blog in early May (through Monday, the 4th), there’s a chance that the criminals who hijacked it have infected your computer. I strongly recommend you scan your PC for viruses with whatever security software you have on it. Then, just to be safe, scan it again with either SUPERAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware. (I’m scanning mine with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware was I type this.)
I’ve still got some work to do on the new site. I’ll have to rebuild my blogroll (the links the theaters, festivals, and so on), and redesign the site within WordPress.com’s limitations. So please, pardon my dust.
